It is a great joyce for me, in the beginning of this year, to be able of refer this message to you. Let me start by expressing my gratitude towards you, my chucrh. By your presence, your prayers, your tenth and offerings, you have brought an essential contribution to the progress of our ministry. May you receive the expression of my greatest gratitude and my paternal blessings.

 

The onset of the New year has surely been the opportunity to meditate, to assess the twelve last months. But it has also been the best time to make good resolutions concerning the future.

 

The ending year is  demonstrating that we have come over a transitional period. Certain things that we believed to be granted and self-working, are pretty slowly brought back in question. It seems like our common ennemy would have succeeded to inoculated a poison, making of the actual condition of Roc Séculaire Tabernacle, the assembly of Paris, an antithesis of its own image of the past.

 

I would like to take as examples the report of laxity regarding certain values which are the very fundaments  of our church.

 

In fact, doubt and mistrust, surrounded by the incapacity of forgiving one another, have come after the perseverance in the teaching of the Word, the brotherly fellowship, the breaking of the bread and  the prayers creating, by the way, a climate of hostility, incompatible with the presence of God in our lives. For sure, all this is appaling.

 

Meanwhile, my call, my commission as well as my attitude towards the promises of the Lord concerning this work have not let me fall into alarmist reactions. We are of those who take things from the  radiant side ! So, the aim of the string of sermons that we have had for the two last months, is to do the groundwork on  « the wineyard » in order to convert all those failings into real need to experience true Divine Love.

 

I can't look away from sealing this new year with the mark of the Agapao Love.

 

That is the guarantee of a true faith, of trust with one another, the vertue of forgiveness, the bond of the perfection.

 

By placing the year 2008 under the sign of the Agapao Love, I can see a new daybreak through the horizon. Together, we should take a more responsible attitude for the future concerning our engagement, our duties under the colours of the message which has gathered us here.
